You don’t need a fancy bike or special clothes to ride with us, but we do require that everyone wear a helmet and strongly encourage you to bring at least one water bottle.
At least one club member will be present at each ride to lead the group. For the most timely updates, including last-minute weather cancellations, please see the Athens Bicycle Club’s Facebook group, where rides will be usually posted as Facebook Events.

Volunteer for the Baileys Dirt Fondo – October 12, 2024

Support ORCA and The Baileys Trail System by volunteering for the Bailey’s Dirt Fondo. ORCA need your help to put on this event! Consider supporting the event by signing up to volunteer. Volunteers can choose from various tasks and shifts from the week before the event to the day of.

The Baileys Trail System is a planned 88-mile mountain bike-optimized trail system in the Wayne National Forest. Currently, 58 miles of trail are built. When complete, the Baileys Trail System will be the longest continuous mountain-bike-optimized trail system east of the Mississippi River. Sunday Mountain Bike Rides at Lake Hope State Park

Join the Athens Bicycle Club for a mountain bike ride in Lake Hope State Park. This is a recurring ride at Lake Hope that takes place on Sunday throughout the year.
