3. Friends Group for Strouds Run, Burr Oak and Forked Run State
Parks
-
Randy Wachter has requested that Athens Bicycle Club start a nonprofit
organization to perform fundraising and volunteer work for these
three parks.
-
Club members discussed the fact that the club already is spread
thin and overextended with trail building and tour organization
alone, and that as a club we don’t feel prepared to handle
this much work.
-
Tracy agreed to relay this to Randy and find out if there is some
aspect of this project that we could assist with vs. take the lead
on.
4. ABC Officers
Tracy asked for volunteers to become the next ABC president. He
suggested that we rotate the presidency and members volunteer
for a one-year term. No one volunteered and Tracy volunteered
to stay on as acting president until we find a replacement.
