1. Club Web Site
What is the protocol for the web site. It is stagnant and there
are things that need to go up there. Who wants to put the energy
into it? Tim does. Tom thinks that the web site needs cue sheets
for rides and maps and stuff. Next Steps: Everybody bring their
ideas for the Web site to the next meeting or email them to Tim.
At the next meeting we will discuss what items we want and prioritize
them.
2. Spring Ride (Tom’s Trillium Tour)
Everything sounds in order. Tom need volunteers to work the morning
of the ride. If you can volunteer, please contact Tom.
3. Tour of the Hocking
There are road closures by the river but they should be open for
the ride. We have secured a caterer. Tom is considering a couple
of route changes. The club decided to leave the price the same as
last year. Ellen will be purchasing breakfast supplies.
We need to identify drivers for the sag.
4. Trailbuilding Progress
Lake Hope — Yosemite falls is done and looking good, needs
a little benching, and needs ridden. Sidewinder needs adoption,
looking after for maintenance. Malcolm suggested that the route
be added to the map.
Strouds Run — Everything is good and trailbuilding is set
to be finished for the season. There will be maintenance to be done
on some trails after the gravel rouser classic. There should be
no riding on the trails that we have built that are flagged yellow
until after Phil Cantino has moved plants.
5. Using OMBA's 501(c)3 Status
Cleveland chapter has proposed that we join there federation so
that we can use their 5013c status. We would have to pay dues and
everything would be handled through the web. Insurance would be
a major benefit. Pete is going to get more information. We could
have two accounts so we could handle our money as well as money
with the OMBA. Pete suggested dues of $15.
Meeting adjourned.
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, Apr. 2, 2007 at 7 p.m.
at the Cat's Den.
Cheers!
